Effective 13 February 2026: Medicare card holders are eligible for bulk billing for standard consultations at our practice.

Fees That May Still Apply

Private fees or additional out-of-pocket costs may apply to services outside our standard bulk billing policy. These may include certain procedures, skin consultations, medical reports and forms. Please contact reception for details.

Medicare Assignment of Benefit

From 1 July 2026, patients receiving a bulk-billed service must agree to assign their Medicare benefit to the treating healthcare practitioner.

At the end of your consultation, you will need to confirm your agreement by signing or electronically accepting the Medicare Assignment of Benefit. Where permitted, verbal consent may also be recorded.

This allows Medicare to pay the benefit directly to your healthcare practitioner as full payment for the bulk-billed service.

Register with MyMedicare

Choose our practice as your preferred medical centre and nominate your preferred GP. Registration is voluntary and free.

• Longer Medicare-funded telehealth consultations, where eligible
• Greater continuity of care with your preferred GP
• Access to additional eligible services offered by the practice

Available services depend on patient eligibility and what the medical centre offers. Eligible MyMedicare patients may also be offered an enduring Assignment of Benefit agreement for ongoing bulk-billed GP services. This may reduce the need to provide separate consent after each eligible consultation.
